{smile}
I just have so much joy in sharing this post… it kind of bubbles over and makes me smile silly happy smiles. Firstly, I got to hang out with a special friend for most of a day whilst photographing (always great!), but secondly, what we photographed / what I am posting is part of her tentative and brave ‘first steps’ in fulfilling a dream that has been in her heart for so long. And for that, she deserves a huge cheer!
Between juggling two rowdy boys, a hubby who travels loads and moving back to her home country after 5 years abroad, she’s daring to dream again about working with fabrics and to design & turn her ideas into the pretty clothes she so loves to make.
Berit, I wish you all the best for this new season ahead… and all the courage & wisdom you’ll need to know when and where to go, do & sew! I cannot wait to see all that you are still to create. Thanks for entrusting me with the task of photographing a few of the lovely items for your portfolio – it was such a blessing to be a part of your journey.

p.s. a few extra images will be posted HERE soon (including her lovely wedding dress & handmade crown, so pretty!). Do pop by in a short while.
Here up north national day has recently come and gone and midsummer is around the corner, less than a week away. As a celebration of all things Swedish / national therefore, something in blue & yellows to cheer us all up in time for this coming weekend’s festivities. Fingers crossed that the summer-sun will be showing her face!

As magical goes, setting up and shooting this styled session with lovely Mathilda in the park surrounding Waldemarsudde (Djurgården, Stockholm) was just that.
