meet baby milan

Little Milan was born on April 17 to proud mommy and daddy Camelia & Sana Safai. I had great fun photographing a lovely expectant Camelia (click HERE for the shoot) and was really excited to meet this little man for the first time – and to be able to photograph him too. We had a choice of the sweetest little  hats / wraps available for this shoot, all knitted  by friends and family. How precious. x

everyday joys

sometimes I just forget to document the ordinary… being so focused on taking specific pictures for projects or clients,  the loveliness of just ‘being’ is sometimes forgotten. hence here is today – a reminder of the simple joy of seeing our little one loving bath time. it’s such a fun & anticipated event in our household every evening with it’s very own set of rituals designed by her, be it the ‘mermaid roll’, her noddy-doll needing to swim or the princess ‘dress-up’ afterwards. i hope these will help me remember these precious times. she’s growing up so fast.

a happy little chap

Capturing little Calla required some quick footwork … he has boundless energy and runs around no end! Seeing his little jolly face in these pics still makes me smile every time  though – he’s just so happy one can’t but be affected when together.  Jobeana & Lambertus, thank you for kindly letting me share these. Hopefully we will see you & little Calla again soon. xxx
